Parking                       In the Immediate school lot.  Plenty of residential parking on adjacent streets when the lot                                  becomes full. All charter buses please call to reserve your space.

Entry Fees:                 $3.00 PER EVENT /  $12.00 PER RELAY.  Fees must accompany entries and must be paid in certified funds, or club check.  No personal checks.  Make team checks or money orders payable to Quiet Fire youth track.

Entry Deadline:          Our pre registration deadline is APRIL 13, 2005.  All entries must arrive on or before APRIL 13, or will be considered late and an additional late fee will be attached to your pick-up packet.

 

Late Entries:               $5.00 PER EVENT & $20.00 PER RELAY.  Late entries will be subject to lane availability.  Late entries on meet days will be restricted to the hours between 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Saturday and Sunday ONLY.

                                   

Track:                         ALL WEATHER TRACK. All track and field events & runways are restricted to ¼”  spikes. 

 

Directions:                  From Los Angeles: 110 fwy exit at Rosecrans west, go West approx 5 miles to Inglewood ave left on Inglewood 1 mile to school.

 

                                    From San Diego  County:  5 fwy to 405 fwy north exit Inglewood ave north ½ mile to school.

WHO HOST AN "A" MEET WILL USE THE HY-TEK, ALL OTHER TEAMS 
MUST SUBMIT ON DISC USING 
MEET MANAGER LITE/ NO E XCEPTIONS.

 

 

Entry

Requirements:           Disk Entries:  Teams using the HY-TEK meet manager program or meet manager lite (windows version) must submit entries on DS/HD 3 ½ floppy disk mailed to the address below on or before deadline date.  TEAMS WHO HAVE 10 OR LESS ATHLETES ONLY may also use attached entry forms, duplicate as needed using a separate form for each gender and each division. If you use attached forms please adhere to the deadline.

 

Items to Mail:            Club Check, Entry fee sheet, Disk or entry forms

 

Packet Pickup:           Will be at the track starting 6:00 a.m.

 

 

Eligibility:                   All participants must be currently registered with USA Youth Track and Field, according to their birth year in the following age divisions. Exceptions will include Middle schools and elementary school teams.

 

Divisions:                   Sub Bantam                  97 & Later

                                    Bantam             95-96

                                    Midget                         93-94

                                    Youth                           91-92

                                    Intermediate                 89-90

                                    Young Men/Women     87-88

 

Limitation:                  Sub-Bantam, Bantam, and Midgets are limited to three (3) events.  Youth and above are limited to four (4) events.

 

Awards:                      The top 8 overall will be awarded Medals.

 

                                    Division trophies will be presented to the top team in the sub-Bantam through Intermediate Divisions.  Team trophies will be presented to the 1st place girls & boys teams using the 10-8-6-4-2-1- scoring system.  The host teams will be excluded from division & team awards but will displace in the scoring.

 

Check-In:                   All participants in running events must check in with the clerk of the course when their event is called.  Field events participants must report directly to the official in charge of their event when it is called.

 

Concession:                A snack Bar with a large selection will be available on both days.

 

 

Hotel:                          For hotel accommodations please check Redondo Beach, Torrance, LAX, or Inglewood Areas through Yahoo Yellow Pages, or SMARTpages.com. Gardena hotels only came up with two stars, which indicates “motel”.

Protest:                       Protests must be made in writing (rule number must be indicated) with a $25.00 deposit within 30 minutes of posted result.  Protests must be given directly to the meet referee.
