Registration:                  7:00 a.m.   STARTING TIME:  8:00 a.m.

 

Entry Fees:                   $3.00 per event                        $12.00 per relay

Late Entries                  $5.00 per event                        $20.00 per relay

 

Entry Deadline:             ENTRY DEADLINE – APRIL 21, 2006        

                                    Fees must be paid in certified check, money order or club check. 

                                      NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Entries are not valid until payment is received.

Requirements:               Meet Registration: Entry Disk:  Midnight APR 21, 2006

                                    All teams with ten or more athletes must use Hy-Tek for registration.

                                    (No Faxed or E-mailed entries will be accepted).

 

Late Registration:       Late entries will be $ 5.00 per event/$20 per relay. No Late entries will be seeded. Late entries will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. both days, but they will not be seeded.

 

                                  You must include your 2006 USATF registration numbers.

Packet Pick-Up:   Team packets may be picked up beginning at 6:30 a.m. at the

                             meet site.

 

Entry Tags:       The clerk of the course will not accept any entry tags that have been

                        changed or altered.

 

Eligibility:          All participants must be currently registered with USA Track and Field, 

                       according to their birth year in the following age divisions:

 

Divisions:          Sub-Bantam              98 & Later
                        Bantam                      96-97
                        Midget                       94-95
                       Youth                         92-93
                       Intermediate               90-91 
                       Young Men/Women    88-89

 

Limitation:    Sub-Bantam Events 100m, 200, Long Jump, 4x100m Relay and 4x400m        Relay (no 400m Dash).  Sub-Bantam , Bantams and Midgets are limited to three (3) events. Youth and above are limited to four (4) events including relays.

 

Awards:   The top 8 overall will be awarded.  Custom medals will be given to those           placing 1st through 3rd place, and ribbons for those finishing in 4th-8th place. Division trophies will be presented to the top two teams in the Sub-Bantam through Intermediate Divisions.  Team trophies will be presented to the top two boy's and girl's teams, using the 10- 8-6-4-2-1 system. The host team will be excluded from division & team awards but will displace in the scoring. Teams must be present to receive their awards.

 

Check-In:  All participants in running events must check in with the clerk of the course

                 when their event is called.  Field event participants must report directly to the

                 official in charge of their event when it is called.

 

Protests:   Protests must be made in writing (rule number must be indicated) with a

                $25.00 cash deposit within 30 minutes of posted result.  Protests must be given

                directly to meet referee.

 

Concession:   Snack bar, T-shirts and programs will be available both days.

 

 NOTE:  NO ATHELETE (S) OR SPECTATOR (S) WILL BE ALLOWED TO

ENTER  ANY BUILDING (S) IN THE ADJACENT OR SURROUDING AREAS OF THE TRACK. ATHLETES CAUGHT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THEIR EVENTS.

 

Tents and Umbrellas are restricted to top seats. ONLY ATHLETES & COACHES ALLOWED IN THE CLERK OF THE COURSE AREA. Due to limited space for warm-up, no team canopies with spectators will be allowed in the warm-up area.  The Long Beach Sprinters reserve the right to limit the number of spectators going in and out of this area.

 

Meets Results:    Will be placed on our web site by May 12, 2006.
